large vellum indenture. Lease and release of close of Woodground called Birchwood, between John Trueman of Westerleigh, yeoman, to William Thomas. 

Heavy pendant  wax seal . Beautifully artistic calligraphic heading with extremely decorative large initial “T” (4.25” x 3.75”), incorporating scroll work throughout the words “This Indenture”.

Attractive document.  Very slight wear on one fold .6

Large, ornamental letter “T” (approximately 4” x 5”). Three large decorative flourishes in the top margin. Lacks seal from tag. 

Attractive document. Very good condition, considering it is over 323 years old.
