vellum indenture. between john watsonby of reednes in the county of york, yeoman and joseph paynard of reednes in the county of york. marriage settlement regarding marriage of john watsonby to mary paynard. mentions cottages.

thin vellum with two tiny natural holes.

overall condition is fair, given it is 334 years old.

 size 16.5” x 11.5”.

two vellum manuscripts. 

copy of the last will & testament of john middlebrooke of  berkfoot in the parish of bingley in the county of york, husbandman deceased dated 23^rd January 1746,

 together with  probate in favour of his wife grace middlebrooke, sole executrix, signed by john lister howard, court baron.

 pendent wax seal bearing coat of arms attached. 

extremely rare to find these documents together and in such remarkable condition given that they are 257 years old. slight wear on one fold but still quite legible. 

size 20” x 11.5” and 9.5” x 5”
