EARLY NINETEENTH CENTURY VASE

MURANO

SIGNED

we believe this to be an early nineteenth century cone in a colbalt blue and clear glass mix, with applied aventurine and clear glass swirl.

the non concentric base is of clear glass, the cone is attached  at a slightly oblique angle, whether this was intentional, it is unknown.

the base is signed but the signature is illegible. we believe we can see the numbers 22 to depict the year of production.

a highly unusual and rare piece, in perfect condition.

height - 7" ( 17.5cm)
